Today I biked to Doorn to see the last residence of the last German emperor. This is where he lived after giving up the throne. On the way there I also made a stop at Austerlitz pyramid. What will 19th century French army do if there's no need to practice maneuvers any more but soldiers need activity? They build a pyramid and put obelisk on top of it to make the pyramid one of a kind in the world.
Ja nüüd Doorni palee. Keiser ostis selle Audrey Hepburni vanaemalt. Sakslased olid väga lahked ja lubasid endisel keisril enda mööbli ja muud asjad uude residentsi tuua. See pidi olema väga suur rong, millega kogu Doornis olev sisustus ära toodi.
And now Doorn palace. The emperor bought it from Audrey Hepburn's grandmother. He was allowed to get his furniture and other things from Berlin to his new residence by train. It had to be one really big train to fit everything that's in Doorn.
