The trip started and ended in Istanbul. So this post is about the beginning and the end of the trip. I've been to Istanbul once before but it's such a big city that you can easily spend there weeks and still discover something new. I definitely want to return there in not so distant future. First time I was in Istanbul in early September couple of years ago when it was still quite hot. This time in November. The difference was huge. In September it was still very crowded with tourists and there were long-long lines to the museums and other sites. Now it was much more peaceful and nicer. I recommend going there outside the tourist season. So what did we do and see?
1. Mošeed / Mosques
Istanbul on täis mošeesid.
Istanbul is full of mosques. The most popular and crowded is Blue mosque but there are many other equally beautiful where you can be in peace and quiet.

2. Hagia Sophia
Hagia Sophia väärib eraldi mainimist. See on kindlasti üks muljetavaldavamaid hooneid terves Istanbulis.
Hagia Sophia is worth mentioning on its own. It's definitely one of the most impressive buildings in Istanbul.
3. Dolmabahçe palee / Dolmabahçe Palace
Kunagine sultani residents.
Former residence of sultan. You can go in only with guided tour and it's not allowed to take photos inside. Ultimate luxury!
4. Istanbuli kokakool / Istanbul Cooking School
Soovitan! Koduleht: http://www.istanbulcookingschool.com/
The last day in Istanbul we spent studying Turkish cooking. Istanbul Cooking School organizes one-day workshops that start at the market (really fun) and then everyone prepares together 5-course meal. Definitely recommend! Website: http://www.istanbulcookingschool.com/
