San Gorgonio. Vol 1

Eile tegin läbi oma senise elu kõige pikema ja kõige kõrgema matka. Lõuna-California kõrgeim tipp San Gorgonio. Sõit San Diegost raja algusesse algas kell 5 hommikul ning kestis umbes 2 tundi. Rajale asusime veidi pärast 7. Lõpetasime pimedas taskulampide valguses umbes pool 9 õhtul. Matka kogupikkuseks oli umbes 23 miili ehk 37 kilomeetrit. Seda kõike suurema osa ajast otseses päikesepaistes. Taaskord pildid tehtud telefoniga, et mitte liigset raskust kaamera näol kaasa vedada. Kuna pilte on palju, teen teise postituse veel.

Yesterday I finished the longest and highest hike of my life - San Gorgonio which is the highest peak in Southern California. We started to drive from San Diego at 5 a.m and got to the trail a little after 7. We finished in the dark using flashlights at about 8.30 p.m. Total mileage was about 23 miles and most of the time in direct sunshine. Again I took photos with my phone because I didn't want to carry any extra weight. I took quite many photos so there will be one more post. 

Mount Woodson

Laupäeval osalesin matkal Mount Woodsonile. Eesmärk oli treening järgmisel nädalal toimuvaks matkaks Lõuna-California kõrgeima tipu otsa (3500 m üle merepinna). Laupäevase matka distants kokku oli 23 km ning Woodsoni mäe ületasime kaks korda. Ei saa öelda, et see siinse päikse ja soojaga lihtne ettevõtmine oli.  Seega pole ma veel 100% kindel, et järgmise nädala matkale lähen. Allpool mõned mobiiliga klõpsitud pildid.

I participated in a training hike for next week's hike at Mount Woodson. Next week the hike will be at St Gorgonio - the highest peak in Southern California. Hike on Saturday was in total 23 km and we crossed Mount Woodson twice. I can't say it was an easy hike with the sunny and hot weather. I'm not 100% sure I will go to next week hike. Tagasi Ameerikas.

Olen Ameerikas olnud juba terve nädala. Kaks nädalat on veel jäänud. Neljapäeva õhtul külastasin ühte toredat veiniistandust. Siin paar pilti.

I've been back in US for a week already. Two more weeks to go! On Thursday evening I had a chance to visit one lovely winery. Here are some photos. 

Kärdla kohvikute päev

Kärdlas on traditsiooniks saanud kohvikute päeva korraldamine. Inimesed avavad üheks päevaks enda koduõuedes kohvikud. Ei puudunud ka elav muusika ja otse paadist müüdud suitsukala!

Little town Kärdla has a tradition of organizing Day of Cafes. It means that people open cafes at their homes just for one day. There's live music and also smoked fish was sold from a boat. 

Üks mütsike

Vahepeal valmis tellimustööna üks müts. Lõngaks Idena Bambino Ull, 40g. Värvitud tatikutega. Vardad: 3mm ja 3.5 mm.

This hat was ordered from me. Yarn: Idena Bambino Ull, 40 g. I dyed the yarn with bolete mushrooms. Needles: 3 and 3.5 mm.
