Tore tegevus San Franciscos on rattaga üle Golden Gate silla sõita ning teiselt poolt praamiga tagasi. Praamiga tagasi saab kahest kohast - Sausalitost, mis on sillale väga lähedal, ja Tiburonist, kuhu tuleb veel umbes tund aega vändata. Mina sõitsin Tiburoni. Vahepeal tuleb sõita mööda üsna suuri ja autorohkeid teid, kuid üldiselt on tegemist väga nauditava sõidu ja ilusate vaadetega. Kindlasti on vajalik vesi, päiksekreem ja kiiver - kasvõi ainult päikse eest kaitsmiseks.
Nice thing to do in San Francisco is biking the bridge - Golden Gate Bridge. From the other side you can return by ferry. There are 2 places where you can take the ferry - Sausalito (quite close to the bridge) and Tiburon (add another hour to your bike tour). I went to Tiburon. Most of the route is very pleasant and with beautiful views but there are sections where you need to share the road with lots of cars. You definitely need sunscreen and helmet and lots of water.

Seekord Monterey. Armas linn imelise akvaariumiga, kus on väga suur meduuside kogu.
Monterey - lovely city on coast with amazing aquarium. I especially liked the collection of jellyfish.

Kauneim osa California rannikust kannab nime Big Sur. Kord elus tasub see sõit kindlasti ette võtta!
The most beautiful part of Californian coast is called Big Sur. Definitely a must-visit!

Hearst'i loss kuulus miljonär William Randolph Hearst'ile ning see oli 1920.-1930. aastatel rikkate ja ilusate ajaveetmise koht, kuhu igaüks lootis saada kutsutud.
Hearst Castle belonged to millionaire William Randolph Hearst and in 1920s-1930s it was a place where celebrities gathered to have some high quality entertainment.

Road trip report 1
Hetkel istun San Francisco lennujaamas ja ootan lendu San Diegosse. Möödunud reedel alustasin reisi mööda rannikut San Franciscosse mitmete vahepeatustega teel. Siin on Santa Barbara. Esimesed pildid on Santa Barbara kohtuhoonest, mis on väidetavalt üks Ameerika kaunemaid kohtuhooneid. Ilus on ta tõesti. Kõige üllatavam oli, et neil on eestikeelne maja tutvustav brošüür! Viimasel pildil on La Arcada tänava purskkaev, kus elavad kilpkonnad.
At the moment I'm sitting at San Francisco airport waiting for my flight back to San Diego. Last Friday I started a road trip up to San Francisco with multiple stops on the way. This is Santa Barbara. First photos are about the court house which is said to be the prettiest one in US. It is beautiful indeed. I was really surprised that they have leaflet about the house in Estonian! Last photo is taken on La Arcada street - this fountain has turtles living in it.
